Always in search of something different... Since I was little, I became interested in how things work and their value, inventing new solutions for various needs. This, combined with a great passion for the world of art that has always accompanied me, led me to study a degree in Design at the Complutense University of Madrid.
During these years of study, I explored various branches of design, even working as a photographer at the Madrid Book Fair for the Editatum publishing house. However, it wasn't until the last year of this degree that I finally chose to focus on digital development through subjects like web design and animation. This decision led me to seek an internship related to web design to learn more about this world that interested me so much. Fortunately, I joined Iconestudio, a design studio where I worked with WordPress, learned SEO tools, expanded my graphic design knowledge dealing with real clients, and even learned to work with PHP documents.
Shortly after these months of internship, just a few weeks before the Covid-19 pandemic forced us all to stay at home for a while, I landed a job as a graphic designer and layout artist at the publishing house where I had previously worked temporarily as a photographer at the Madrid Book Fair. Here, I had direct contact with authors, editors, and printers, learning a methodical working dynamic involving different personalities.
While working in this role and completing the required final degree project, I applied to illustrate and create infographics for a new English learning app. I managed to balance this alongside my existing work, surpassing my own expectations when working against the clock.
Following this experience and wanting to delve even deeper into web design and new agile design methodologies, I decided to pursue a Master's in UX UI and web design and development at the CEI School. This decision propelled my career forward, as I was presented with the opportunity to take on a position as a web and UX UI designer at the same company where I was already working, while still performing graphic design functions.
Currently, I am working for a software development company where, in addition to expanding my knowledge in JavaScript, I have been able to plan and develop various projects, relying on different agile methodologies and placing a key emphasis on the user experience.
This is my story, I found it important to share it to convey my journey, how my path has been shaped to become who I am today. This is my design process, in which I am still developing and learning
