After this first stage, it was decided that the project should focus on the need for socialisation in times of Covid 19 , proposing the theatre as a solution, promoting it as a plan that adapts to the new restrictions, different from the current social base based on consumption in bars, because in the theatre the use of the mask is maintained and the opening hours are adapted to the imposed curfew.
At the end of this process, it was decided to abandon a more traditional proposal, which would have focused on theatre attendance, and direct the project towards the development of an advertising and information platform that would draw the user into the world of theatre. In other words, the aim is destigmatise theatre and let users discover and enter this world themselves.
In order to achieve this development, we have chosen to introduce various informative sections on each of the selected plays, as well as personalised suggestions for the user according to his or her interests (by introducing the registration of a profile), podcasts, which act as an up to date platform where young audiences can feel comfortable and which offer a short fragment of the play performed by an actor that leaves the user wanting to know more. International news from the world of theatre and recommendations of plays in other media are also included.
In the end, the whole process ended up in a mobile application, abandoning the idea of a website, since it is aimed at a young audience (who mainly surf on their mobile devices) and it is more convenient to save the user's registration. The tool is called "Entre Bambalinas" (Backstage), which refers to everything that goes on behind the scenes and that the spectator does not normally see, since the purpose of this application is to interest the user in the world of theatre by learning everything that each play hides.
